Double Exposure and Image Blending Mode
Double Exposure
Double exposure photography refers to merging multiple images. The goal is to make them surreal, emotional, or humorous. They usually feature silhouettes. Its effect may look complicated at first. But it’s easy to make in-camera and in Adobe Photoshop. You don’t need a double exposure camera, as there are a few other ways you can create them.
1. Tilt-shift effect
2. Create fake reflection
3. Experiment with simple portraits and details textured
4. Convert your results to black and white
5. Work with silhouette
6. Pick two random photo
7. Make simple objects look fascinating
8. Use Shadow
Blend Modes
Working with blend modes is almost always an experimental process. Because it’s nearly impossible to predict the results, you always seem to end up experimenting with different modes and Fill Opacities until you get the results you’re looking for.
TUTORIAL/PRACTICAL
This week onwards we have consultation session for our final project.
Process of Final Project
Part 2 : Design Direction
I took several photographs of myself holding my iPad from different angles.

I extracted myself from the background using the selection tool. Then, I found aurora view from Internet and played with blending options to create some sort of dreamy effect. I wanted the final outcome to be fantasy and soothing.

I added some doodles at the background using textured pen (chalk-like texture). I draw clouds, rainbow, love, star, planet and music elements, which are the elements that I like/ attract me.
I created a several versions of the "wave" coming out from my iPad. But the wave for Poster #3 and #4 are too dominant and distracting in my opinion. So, I created Poster #5 with a thinner version. I might use Poster #5 or Poster #1 as my final submission.

FEEDBACK
Week 13 :
Good progress. Mr. Fauzi said I have a good photo, with good lighting, shadow and highlight. He let me decide my final poster. I will need to change the canvas size to 1920 x 1080 pixels. For animation, he suggested me to get aurora video from YouTube and added in the background.
